 Play It Again Sam
by
Woody Allen                                (Spring 2004)

‘Of all the plays in all the world, you have to walk into this one’. And they did. A play before it became a film, this is vintage Woody Allen. Dumped by his wife, Allan calls on his hero Humphrey Bogart for advice on winning the dames. After some disastrously funny blind dates, things really get complicated when he starts falling for his best friend’s wife.

The Comedy of Errors
by
William Shakespeare                 (Summer 2004)

Not just one set of identical twins and mistaken identity but two sets of identical twins and mistaken identities. Written in imitation of Classical Roman comedy and set in Ephesus - transplanted to the Castle Grounds for this production - The Comedy of Errors is one of Shakespeare’s earliest plays and quite possibly his first ever comedy.

Grapes & Raisins
by Lawrence Roman                       (Autumn 2004)

This very funny play, set on the West Coast of the USA, makes a compelling case for the right of the older generation to have fun – whether getting exercised over an Italian meal in the kitchen or getting exercised over each other! All to the delight of the audience, old and young.
